Houston Rapper Kay Jay Follows Paul Wall Collab With “Seize The Moment”

Houston rapper Kay Jay continues to showcase his growth with this follow-up to the Paul Wall assisted “Live For Today.”  Today’s offering, “Seize The Moment Intro”, delivers an up-tempo Jon Z-produced track that enables Kay Jay to showcase what is becoming his signature sound. The song appears on Kay Jay’s sophomore project, “Seize The Moment” which drops in January via Empire Distribution.

“I decided to label the intro track as self-titled “Seize The Moment” to help set the pace and tone for my album.” Kay Jay shares. “I got the tattoo ‘Seize The Moment’ across my whole chest whenever I first got out of prison to signify a new life that I must live to the fullest. I always wanted to call my first big project that because I knew that it could be the most monumental moment of my life. Although this is technically my 3rd project, I feel that this one is 10x better than everything else I’ve done and 2017 is going to be the biggest year of my life. The song is marijuana influenced, but then again so is my whole life… staying lifted one above the rest mentally and spiritually!!”

Taiyamo Denku Ft VVS Verbal & Ruste Juxx – “Into Dust”

The spirit of Sean P looms over Taiyamo Denku and Dcypha’s latest single, “Into Dust”, featuring Buck Town USA’s VVS Verbal and Duck Down Records own, Ruste Juxx.

Back on August 8th of 2015, Hip Hop lost one of it’s most noted lyrical soldiers when news broke that Sean Price had passed away. To add to the sorrow, it seems as though the Hip Hop genre is losing it’s way from the path it ought to journey down. Thankfully, we have artists such as Milwaukee’s Taiyamo Denku who strive to preserve the very core of what the culture embodies. Today, the Midwest monster debuts “Into Dust”, featuring VVS Verbal and Ruste Juxx, two of P’s close friends and associates.

The song opens up with a clip from “John 3:16″ that features esteemed actor, Denzel Washington. As the song then begins, listeners are treated to nothing but brolic bars of brute, a showing that would make P himself proud. Australian producer/DJ Dcypha delivers what could arguably be some of the most adrenaline filled cuts we’ve heard this year as he closes the song out with some Sean P samples from an upcoming Cypha Den Music single. If you love Hip Hop, this song’s for you.

Mad Squablz – The Art of Boom Bap: Generation Next (EP)

There are emcees who’ve been rapping for 2 decades who haven’t found their voice. Some people try their hardest to become emcees… others are born to do this. Take the intro for example. And this is no disrespect to Squablz’ boy Krasizm, but peep the contrast. Two different galaxies.

This 7 track EP was just enough for MS to flex, but not over do it, and I’m impressed. The young man’s vernacular, delivery and ability to paint pictures has me hooked!

Excellent work young man!! Can’t wait to hear and see more!!
