Santa Does Exist 2016 – Community Impact!

Donation link –

With Thanksgiving coming to a close, it is important that we are thankful for our wonderful families, friends, and those we get to spend the holidays with! It is equally important to be aware of how easy it is to help others. This is where you can make a difference in someone’s life with minimal effort!

Last year, with the help of the community, and $750+ dollars in donations, we were able to help 3 families in need for Christmas!! These three families were chosen by the people who donated, and each one was able to celebrate Christmas with a $250 shopping spree at Toys R Us!!

This year we’re hoping to help 4 families! This is how you can support the cause!

Any and every donation is greatly appreciated! With a $20 donation you’ll be given the opportunity to select a family in need from our community! Once we’ve achieved our goal, we will choose the names of 4 people who donated $20 or more for a chance to win via video for all to see. If you are NOT in need, but know someone who is, you can gift the $250 shopping spree to them!

Here is a link to last year’s article about the winners, courtest of the Journal Times –

Any questions about the contest, how the winners are selected, or if you’d like to support the cause via your own local business, please reach out to me via email and I will respond ASAP

Thank you all very much!
Here’s to another amazing holiday season!

C.Shreve the Professor – No Names (prod. by ILe Flottante)

“People love to pop off and name drop all over the place. We worked hard to develop our names and earn our spot. That sucka sh*t doesn’t fly. Folks need to find their own way to make it out here and quit pretending they invented the platform they’re standing on.”

This track is the first taste of a collaborative album from Shreve and UK producer ILe Flottante titled “ILePRO” that will release in 2017.

“Harbor me anything but that respect? / And you askin for the axe and then it’s off with your neck / And half of y’all are dead to me, dog no need for the weaponry / I’m Able to bring it to Cain with no half steppin frees / meant to breathe in atonement, I told an opponent / they don’t see what the Dark Matter is now that’s what I been holdin”

Justin Snow – “White On White”

Embarking on an artist’s journey is to be in a permanent state of vulnerability; subjecting oneself to both criticism and praise. Never wanting to be the front man, Justin Snow had always worked with artists behind the scenes  musically, from producing to songwriting. That was until a close friend of Justin’s urged him to use his musical talents and become the artist himself. Weeks later that friend passed away. That friend was Steven Rodriguez better known in the hip hop community as A$AP Yams. Those strong words from his influential brother in music left a lasting impression on Snow. “White on White” is an uptempo melody-driven record produced by Kamoshun with Cool & Dre behind the mix engineering. Justin Snow serves a staccato-driven hook and melodic verse before going into a harmonious breakdown, showcasing his versatility.

General Steele f/ VVS Verbal & Louie Skaggs – Persistence [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

General Steele of Smif-N-Wessun/Boot Camp Clik and Burlington, Vermont-based producer Es-K present the music video for “Persistence”, the first single from their brand new collaboration album Building Bridges. “Persistence” features guest verses from VVS Verbal and Louie Skaggs, and the video was shot by Sisco. Produced mostly by Es-K, Building Bridges features guest appearances from Buckshot of Black Moon, Smoothe Da Hustler, Shabaam Sahdeeq, Rockness Monsta of Heltah Skeltah, and a posthumous cameo from his late great partner, Sean Price. As one half of Smif-N-Wessun, General Steele crashed the hip-hop scene in the 1990s with their debut album Dah Shinin’ (named a Top 100 Album Of All Time by The Source and a Top 50 Debut Album Of All Time by Complex).

Their last release – 2011′s Monumental- was produced by Pete Rock, and Steele has also collaborated with Tupac Shakur, Mary J Blige, 50 Cent, Raekwon and Bounty Killer. Es-K may be best known for his 2014 album Serenity (listen) as well as his Spontaneous Grooves beat tape series, where every beat on each tape was made in one sitting each. A low-key display of introspective verses, classic cuts and jazz-inflected beats, Building Bridges stays true to its name by bridging the gap between established artists and rising ones alike such as VVS Verbal, Shadow The Great of Loaf Muzik, Napoleon Da Legend, Mar’rz Atomz, Stage One, Louie Skaggs, Boone Bixby, Supreme The Eloheem (from the Representativz) and Coke as well as production from Hellfire Beats and Central Parks. DMC champion DJ Grazzhoppa contributes cuts alongside Hashfinger and Hellfire. The cover art comes courtesy of Joe Buck, the artist behind the De La Soul Is Dead cover art. Building Bridges appears via Bucktown USA, the multi-media company General Steele created in 2004 alongside partner Cynical Smith, with digital distribution through Duck Down, including a limited-edition pressing of 500 records which will be available 12/2. #BuildingBridges

Mickey Factz – Wants (video)

Mickey’s album The Achievement is here, and the title fits the sound perfectly. The man has been a voice in the NY circuit for a decade, but if you’re just now getting in tune, you’ve arrived at a wonderful time! Mick has been on fire lately with the freestyles at every major radio show! His features on the album are crazy, and this visual is definitely a well thought out addition to the equation! The edits are subtle, but add life to a man who has waited his entire music career to drop this gem! Salute Mick! Excellent work!

You can find the album on apple music, google play and every other major music streaming platform.
